Air France has revealed their new look A330 planes that will take to the skies by 2020. The airline has completely redesigned their premium economy cabins and will roll out 15 of the redesigned planes by 2020 with the first one taking off this month.
Air France has redesigned and upgraded their premium economy offering with the new A330 premium economy cabin.
The seat has been designed with space and comfort in mind with a 102cm seat pitch and softer seat cushions. At 48.5 cms it is one of the widest premium economy seats on the market.
Each premium economy seat includes a footrest and adjustable lumbar support to suit your preferred seating position, along with a 130 degree seat recline.
Premium Economy passengers receive a feather pillow and a blanket for use inflight along with a Comfort Kit containing inflight essentials. You’ll also have access to plenty of storage, a 13.3 inch high definition screen, a personal power outlet and 2 USB points.
All of Air France’s redesigned A330 cabins are equipped with WiFi with 3 passes to choose from. A free ‘Message Pass’ allows you to send and receive messages free of charge from your favourite apps throughout the flight. A ‘Surf’ pass enables internet access and is priced from 3 - 18 Euros depending on your flight time. And finally a ‘Stream’ pass is available on long-haul flights that allows streaming and downloading throughout the flight for 30 euros. Air France CONNECT is currently available on selected Air France services and will be rolled out across the entire fleet by the end of 2020 .
